Meet our Health Services Director, Wendy Bornfeld and join us at our networking event!

We’re excited to host a special networking event, Have Your Cake and Eat It Too, right here at Autumn View Gardens Ellisville on Wednesday, February 21st, from 4:30-6:00PM. In addition to enjoying some sweet treats (which everyone deserves in the middle of winter), visitors will have the chance to meet and mingle with our senior care professionals, including our Executive Director Tim Nye and our Health Services Director, Wendy Bornfeld.

We hope you’ll join us and find out more about our mission of inspired service—and what we’re doing to make an impact on our residents, their families, and the community we serve. Here’s a little bit about Mary, and what she enjoys most about our senior living community.

Cheesecake reminds Wendy Bornefeld of holidays past and celebrating with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

These memories recall home — which is just the feeling she wants for residents of Autumn View Gardens in Ellisville. As our Health Services Director, Wendy enjoys building relationships and helping residents “feel like they are part of the family.”

At Autumn View Gardens, our team believes in “inspired care.” For Wendy, that means “to live and work every day to do what you love — serving people inside and outside of our community.” She came here because of our excellent reputation in the community.

Autumn View Gardens offers a thriving, faith-based assisted living community with the familiar intimacy of a small community. Neighbors become friends, and our team embodies our mission of selfless service to empower social, spiritual and physical health of our residents.

Autumn View Gardens' parent organization has been serving seniors for nearly 60 years. As a not-for-profit organization, Autumn View Gardens supports philanthropy in our local community and around the world. But most importantly, our organization’s structure means we are able to invest in our residents and their families.

For those researching assisted living communities, Wendy advises visiting in person. “You should get the feeling that everyone working in the community cares. You should get ‘warm fuzzies.’”
